Michaela Foy

Client Relations Manager

Michaela joined our team in August of 2022 as a Client Relations Manager. She is a recent graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount where she double majored in History and Criminal Justice and graduated with summa cum laude honors, all while playing on the women’s volleyball team where she served as team captain during her senior year.

With a passion for learning new things, Michaela wishes to contribute wherever she is needed and values hard work, accountability and discipline. These are all qualities she picked up quickly by being a student-athlete throughout highschool and college.

Michaela’s professional career began in the summer of 2021 when she interned at a real estate and estate planning law firm. From there, she returned to school to complete her undergraduate degree, and re-entered the working world in January of 2022, where she discovered a deeper passion for helping others while working at a small organization that assists wartime veterans in obtaining VA benefits to help pay for their care needs at the end of life.

Michaela grew up in Fuquay-Varina and has recently moved to Cary, where she lives with her husband Jackson. The newlyweds, both born and raised in North Carolina, plan to reside permanently in their home state.

In her free time, Michaela enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and going to new places.

This was a wonderful experience and we were able to get exactly what we needed in a very short turnaround time. Adam, Stephanie, and Michaela were the best, patiently answering all of our questions, making changes to documents in a timely manner, and making a very daunting process simple and easily executed. Highly recommended!

FAQs
Who should have an estate plan?

Estate planning is not just for the rich. If you own your home and have children, you need an estate plan — seriously. What happens if you cannot make decisions for yourself? Who will raise your children if you are unable to? What happens to your home and anything else you own after you’re gone? We can help you legally outline what happens next, so you can protect your legacy and loved ones.

Should I choose a Will or a Trust plan?

This entirely depends on your goals. Schedule a free 1-on-1 consultation to learn more about which option is best for you.

What happens if I do not have a Will?

If you pass away or become incapacitated without a Will, a judge will decide what happens next per your state’s intestate succession rules. This can mean serious consequences.
